Emilia Ferreira (visual artist)

Olá!

Falta falar-vos da Emilia, mais uma das minhas amigas e colegas que irá realizar comigo uma exposição dia 29 na galeria Almadas (vê tudo AQUI).

Ela tem 21 anos e vive no porto e estuda comigo Artes Plásticas, ramo de multimédia na faculdade de Belas Artes da universidade do Porto.

Hii!

I have to tell you about Emilia, another one of my friends who will exhibit with me on March 29th at Almadas gallery (see everything HERE).

She is 21 and lives in Oporto where she studies fine arts, multimédia, on the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Porto.

  

Contou-me que procura pensar o tempo debruçando-se sobe realidades particulares e incoerentemente esperando o acaso. Desenvolveu um forte interesse pelos têxteis, especializando-se na area, no curso de Produção Artística no secundário. Nesse sentido, realizou um curto estágio com a Artista Plástica Ana Tecedeiro (2013) e num workshop com a artista Tita Costa relativo ao processo  da lã.

Expos pela primeira vês o seu trabalho em 2014 com uma escultura têxtil na exposição coletiva "Emergências: Educação Artística e Cultura Têxtil", ligada à Bienal de Arte Têxtil Contemporânea - Contextile 2014.

She tries to think about the time bending over, particular realities and incoherently waiting for the fortuity.

She developed a strong interest in textiles, specializing in that area in the course of Artistic Production. In this sense, she did a short internship with the Plastic Artist Ana Tecedeiro (2013) and a workshop with the artist Tita Costa for the wool process.

She exhibited her work in 2014 with a textile sculpture in the collective exhibition "Emergencies: Textile Arts Education and Culture", linked to the Contemporary Textile Art Biennial - Contextile 2014.

As with the drawing. Astronomy seduces me equally,

although displaced from the environment that have been exploring. "

"Sou fascinada pela escrita, que tenho vindo a aprimorar naturalmente, 

tal como acontece com o desenho. A Astronomia seduz-me de igual modo, 

ainda que deslocada do meio que tenho vindo a explorar."

Paula Vieira (visual artist)

Boa Tarde!
Vou usar, mais uma vez, o blog para vos apresentar outra amiga que irá expor comigo dia 29 de Março (podem ler tudo sobre isso AQUI).
A Paula Vieira é uma jovem artista de 21 anos, é portuguesa e estuda comigo na faculdade de Belas Artes do porto.

I will use the blog again to present to you another friend that will exhibit with me in March 29 (you can read all about it HERE).

Paula Vieira is a Portuguese young artist that is studying at the College of Fine Arts of Oporto.

Interessa-se pela Arte, musica cinema e teatro e tenta encontrar a sua "marca artistica" através da fotografia e outros meios e materiais, explorando as suas plasticidades.

She is interested in art, music cinema and theater and tries to find her "artistic brand" through photography and other media and materials, exploiting it’s plasticity.
